The GFWC Lake Mary Woman’s Club recently threw a swanky soiree with a Hollywood vibe, all to raise money for two local nonprofits.

The Silver Screen Gala, held at the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary, included a cocktail hour, luncheon, silent and live auctions, and musical entertainment. The highlight of the event was a fashion show featuring the latest looks from Em’z on Fifth in Mount Dora.

Audience members cheered and cameras flashed as models walked the runway in flowy, sparkly, and chic outfits perfect for Florida. Proceeds are being donated to Rescue Outreach Mission, an emergency shelter for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, and The Russell Home for severely disabled children.
