Fairvilla Boutique

by Jill Duff-Hoppes

At Fairvilla Boutique in Sanford, the motto is “Feel Good About Feeling Good.” That positive, affirming vibe is evident from the moment customers step into the colorful, inviting store.

The family-owned Boutique, at 1651 Rinehart Road, is Seminole County’s festival and celebration destination. The store boasts an extensive selection of apparel and accessories including fun and flirty lingerie, swimwear, and festival and fantasy costumes. With a hip, on-trend inventory, the store offers a variety of sizes and styles to flatter all body types.

In addition, the Boutique carries an array of unique gifts and bath, body, and health and wellness products.

“The Sanford Boutique represents an empowering and wonderfully inviting place to add a little excitement to whatever celebration or event you’re having,” says Debra Peterson, Fairvilla’s director of procurement and marketing.

A member of the Seminole County Chamber, the Sanford Boutique opened its doors in October 2022 and had a festive ribbon-cutting ceremony in February, right before Valentine’s Day.

“Most of our customers have said, ‘Oh my gosh, you’re here in Sanford now?” says Kara Liburd, the Sanford store manager. “It’s been very positive feedback.”

It Feels Good to Give Back, Too

One of Fairvilla’s most important cornerstones is community involvement. Over the years, the company has raised funds and awareness for many organizations and causes including animal rescue groups, food pantries, and Gay Pride events.

Currently, Fairvilla is working with Hope & Help, a nonprofit health organization and medical clinic that serves Central Florida. And in January, the Sanford Boutique will partner with Hollerbach’s Has Heart, a 501(c)(3) foundation, to raise funds for a local animal rescue group.

“We’re looking forward to fully integrating into our community in Seminole County,” says Debra.
