Fairvilla Boutique

Since opening in Sanford in late 2022, Fairvilla Boutique has fully embraced its community and has been warmly welcomed in return.

Fairvilla Boutique is Seminole County’s festival and celebration destination. The store offers an extensive selection of apparel and accessories including lingerie, loungewear, and festival and fantasy attire. The shelves are also filled with an array of unique gifts along with bath, body, and health and wellness products.

Jo Badger, Fairvilla’s new director of marketing and public relations, is pleased with the connections the Sanford team has made thus far.

“We’re making sure we develop strong roots in the community,” says Debra.

For example, Fairvilla Boutique is a member of the Seminole County Chamber and sponsors its Professional Women’s Luncheons. The store has partnered with Pet Rescue by Judy to help its shelter animals and with Hollerbach’s German Restaurant to support SafeHouse of Seminole. Recently, Fairvilla Boutique sponsored a festive drag show cruise aboard the St. Johns Rivership Co.’s Barbara Lee.

“It continues to be vitally important for all of our Fairvilla locations to not just exist,” says Debra, “but to truly be part of their communities.”

The Sanford Boutique’s community integration has included in-store events, too, such as a fun and informative ladies’ night that was all about intimacy and wellness.

Debra and Kara Liburd, the Sanford store manager, say their outreach efforts offer the perfect opportunity to further Fairvilla’s mission.

“We’re taking intimacy and wellness and making it accessible to people,” says Debra. “We’re demystifying it.”

Kara and Debra note that it’s important for topics such as sexual health and wellness to be discussed openly.

“The staff here is very well educated and very well trained,” says Kara. “People are allowed to come in and be themselves and ask questions freely, without hesitation.”

Fairvilla’s community initiatives have also translated into improved sales numbers at the Sanford shop.

“The sales have absolutely increased,” says Debra. “We’re seeing our involvement really translate into shoppers.”

Kara says, “I love the progress that we’ve made within our community. The reciprocation has been phenomenal. The love that we’ve received has been outstanding, and I look forward to building even more relationships.”
