Miller Johnson Law

At Miller Johnson Law, P.L., relationships are everything.
“This is a relationship business,” says partner Barry B. Johnson. “If we treat others how we like to be treated, then business takes care of itself.”
Backed by the firm’s dedication to provide superior service with integrity, Miller Johnson Law offers a range of services including commercial real estate, corporate law, family law, estate planning, and residential real-estate titles and closings.
“When you refinance or sell your home, our attorneys can handle the title work and closing just like any title company in the area,” says Barry. “However, we can offer the added benefit to our sellers and buyers of having attorney representation without any additional fees or costs.”
The Altamonte Springs-based business is home to four attorneys, one of whom recently joined the team. William Earnhart, who received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and a law degree from Charleston Law School, specializes in commercial real estate. He moved to Central Florida last April specifically to join Miller Johnson Law.
“I chose Miller Johnson Law because they have an established transactional practice combined with great company culture,” William explains.
A Florida Team
The Sunshine State is a common denominator among the firm’s attorneys, who have a combined 70 years of experience.
Barry, who joined Miller Johnson Law in 2014, is a Lyman High School alum. J. Gary Miller is the managing shareholder who founded the firm in 2009. He’s also a Lyman High School grad and has lived and practiced law in Central Florida for more than 40 years. The firm’s family-law and estate-planning practitioner, Lori Pieper, graduated from DeLand High School. William, a Florida native, was raised in Boca Raton.
As members of the communities they serve, the team at Miller Johnson Law are advocates for a variety of local programs and initiatives, generously supporting groups such as Christian HELP, Ali’s Hope, and U.S. Hunger (formerly known as Feeding Children Everywhere). The firm is also active in the Altamonte Springs Rotary Club and the African American Chamber of Commerce.
“The best investment you can make,” says Barry, “is your investment in the community.”
