At Scenthound Oviedo, fancy haircuts are not the priority. Yes, the Scenthound team wants your dog to look good, but more importantly, they work hard to help keep your furry friend healthy.

Roberto Lee, the store’s co-owner and CEO, explains why Scenthound stands out from its dog-care competitors.

“We’re more than grooming; we’re elevated grooming,” he says. “We are essentially inspecting the dog and looking at the general health and overall well-being of the animal.”

At Scenthound, Scent Techs routinely bathe their doggie clients and can trim and blow-dry their hair if needed, but that’s just the beginning of the hygiene and basic grooming services offered. During every visit, technicians check each canine from nose to tail for problem areas such as skin irritations, ear infections, and plaque buildup on teeth.

The SCENT in Scenthound stands for the key areas that are inspected every time a pup comes in for a visit: Skin, Coat, Ears, Nails, and Teeth.

Scent Techs share their findings and proactive recommendations with the dog’s owner via a report card that outlines the pup’s external wellness status and progress.

“We put together a health plan for your dog that tracks those improvement trends,” says Roberto, who also owns                       Scenthound Maitland.

At Scenthound, the goal is to keep pups clean, comfortable, and healthy at affordable prices. Three Care Club membership packages are available, so clients only pay for the services their dogs need.

Clients at Scenthound Oviedo, which opened in the spring of 2023, may have noticed there’s a new general manager – Alize Martinez. Alize is a licensed veterinary technician, which means the dogs who visit the store are in especially capable hands.

“We’re happy to have completed our first year here and grateful to have become part of the Oviedo-Winter Springs community,” says Roberto.
