Slam Dunk Sandwiches in Oviedo has been busy doing what it does best, crafting creative themes that are certain to tempt your tastebuds. Like Grilled Cheese Month this past September. Or Globetrotter Month in October, which featured a lineup of sandwiches with an international flair.   

Now in its third year of operation, Slam Dunk Sandwiches is the type of place where excitement is always high, says co-owner Ted Jones. Ted owns the eatery with his son’s best friend, Chad Bolton. In addition to mouth-watering pressed sandwiches, the shop offers delicious smoothies, salads, soups, and wraps.

Rave reviews on Google and the eatery’s fun vibe reflect the team’s commitment to its customers. 

“My wife and I owned a tiny, take-out, cash-only restaurant in Pennsylvania,” says Ted. “Here in Oviedo, we are really just having fun and finding out what works. The community has been so supportive. We are glad we make our customers so happy.”

Delivery through DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub means customers can also enjoy Slam Dunk Sandwiches without leaving home. The menu’s scrumptious options include The Shocker (Spoiler alert: it’s dusted with powdered sugar!); the Meatballer; and the Cajun Crunch Wrap.
