Miller Johnson Law

After making a big move from Vermont to Florida four years ago, paralegal Kellie Roberts was thrilled to join the skilled team at Miller Johnson Law, P.L.
“I was ready for a change,” says Kellie. “Miller Johnson is an amazing firm.”
Based in Longwood, Miller Johnson Law specializes in managing commercial transactions. The firm provides a broad spectrum of transactional and litigation legal services to clients in all aspects of real estate, business, trust and estates law, and family law.
Kellie, who was born and raised in the small town of Wells, Vermont, earned a business degree from Champlain College in Burlington and became a paralegal. Now a Longwood resident, Kellie’s desire to make a change was not because she was seeking a warmer climate or even a new job – it was due to a horrible car accident that changed the course of her life.
Driving late at night on a dark, southern Vermont road, Kellie swerved to avoid something that crossed her path. Her Jeep flipped, landing on a guardrail. Severely injured, she was airlifted to Albany Medical Center in New York.
“When I woke up the next day, the first thing I thought about were my kids,” says Kellie. “They are my world.”
Kellie spent the next 19 days in the hospital, enduring three knee surgeries, a procedure to repair a split collarbone, and medication to heal friction wounds that ran from her head to her torso. Infections set in, as did pneumonia. Extensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation followed.
The need for a fresh start after that grueling ordeal is what brought Kellie to the Sunshine State, and soon after, she landed her position with Miller Johnson Law. She and husband Ron have an eight-month-old daughter, and Kellie also has two daughters, ages 21 and 15, from a previous marriage.
“I love my job and the people I work with,” says Kellie. “I enjoy putting all the pieces together leading up to a successful closing.”
Miller Johnson Law, which has served the area for more than 15 years, specializes in representing lending institutions, borrowing entities, developers, investors, joint ventures, landlords, tenants, companies, business owners, high net worth individuals, and others with their real estate, business, litigation, and estate and asset protection planning needs.
