Snedaker Law
by Jeannine Gage
Tim and Shannon Snedaker are in-laws... in every sense of the word.
The two attorneys run Snedaker Law, Lake Mary’s signature personal-injury practice. Shannon is married to Tim’s brother, and the two couples are good friends who spend a lot of personal time together. And since Snedaker Law’s motto is Putting the Personal Back in Personal Injury, and the team strives to treat their clients like family, working with an actual family member keeps that ideal at the top of their minds.
“Having each other as family keeps us focused on what’s important and holds us both accountable to working through any difference we may have,” Shannon says.
It’s a lesson that works for both professional and personal relationships.
Tim was working for a South Florida law firm when Shannon first floated the idea of opening a practice together in Lake Mary. For Shannon, the decision was easy.
“Tim and I truly complement each other as business partners,” Shannon says. “He is a hard worker, driven, detail-oriented, methodical, up to date on current case law, and more importantly, he’s supportive of everyone in our office.”
While Shannon does more traditional personal-injury work – mostly representing victims of accidents – Tim practices personal-injury protection, which means representing doctors and other healthcare providers who have trouble getting paid by insurance companies. No matter the situation, clients don’t pay a dime unless their case is won.
“My advice to anyone who thinks they may have a claim against their insurance company is don’t talk to them without talking to us first,” Tim says. “It’s easy to say the wrong thing and hurt your claim.”
Consultations with Tim, Shannon, and their team are always free and never come with any obligation.
“We’re offering free advice; why not take it?” says Tim. “We represent people who have truly been harmed and need help navigating the process of righting that wrong. That is what we are dedicated to.”
And about Tim’s decision to bring his wife Sabrina and three kids to Central Florida to start the family practice with Shannon...
“Best decision we ever made,” Tim says. “We are all very happy.”
